No More Excuses: Educating Black and Latino Males

Finding solutions to educate Black/Latino Males is one of the biggest problems in our school system today. Currently, less than 55% of our Black/Latino males graduate from high school. There are a number of factors that have contributed to this ongoing issues and they will be discussed in this book. Teachers will also be challenged to self-evaluate. No one is perfect, but how often do we focus on our own self-development? Examples are mapped out to help decrease the gap between our parents, teachers and students. After reading Solutions to Educating Black and Latino Males teachers will be equipped with the tools they need to effectively teach our Black/ Latino Males and reverse dropout rates.
